Hwange Colliery workers have gone on strike demanding overdue salaries, a week after their spources demonstrated,
Zimbabwe Focus reported.
More than 100 wives of Hwange Colliery Company Limited (HCCL) workers staged a protest last Monday against the parastatal's management demanding outstanding salaries and allowances for their husbands.
HCCL workers have reportedly gone for the last five months without pay.
Police used force to break up the protest which resulted in several being injured.
