A local beverages manufacturer, Schweppes Zimbabwe says it will expand into the neighbouring countries following high demand for its products on the regional market.

In an interview, Schweppes Zimbabwe Marketing and Public Relations Executive, Unaiswe Nleya said the beverages manufacturer will be expanding into Mozambique, Zambia and Angola which have become competitive markets for their products.

Nleya also said plans to expand into the region follow the company's successful performance and its ability to meet local demand.

While local industry's capacity utilisation has been struggling below 40 percent, the beverages, baking and milling sectors have been performing exceptionally well.
