Mutoko Power Station amends licence

Nyangani Renewable Energy Limited trading as Riverside Power Station, a company licensed under the Electricity Act to construct, own and operate a 2.5 MW solar plant at Musvaire Village in Mutoko, Mashonaland East Province as an independent power producer, has submitted an application to the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) for the amendment of its generation licence number.

The amendment of the generation license entails increasing the installed capacity of the power station from the current 2.5 MW to 10 MW.

Any person desiring to make representations on this application as advertised may within 14 days lodge a written representation with the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA).

Any objections or representations received after the 14-day period shall not be considered by the Authority.
