The Board of Directors of Pioneer Corporation Africa Limited announces the resignation of Albert S. Ushe as Group Chief Executive Officer with effect from 28th February 2014. Having completed two terms as CEO Albert decided to resign to pursue personal interests.

The Board acknowledges and sincerely expresses its gratitude to Albert for his leadership and service to the Group during which period the Group has grown significantly. The Board, Management and staff would like to take this opportunity to wish Albert the very best of luck and the greatest of success in all his future endeavours.

A separate notice will be made on the appointment of a new Group Chief Executive Officer in due course. Mr Gary Smith, the Group Finance Director, will be Acting Group Chief Executive Officer until an appointment is made by the Board.
