SECZ licences more investment advisers

More companies have been licensed to offer services as securities investment advisers, Securities Commission of Zimbabwe chief executive officer Tafadzwa Chinamo has said adding SECZ has licensed 20 investment advisers up from 14 in January.

Securities advisers offer financial advice on corporate transactions such as rights issue which is one of the major transactions in the country at the moment as firms sought to raise more capital.

The new licensed securities investment advisers were FBC Bank Limited, Grant Thornton Camelsa Advisory, KPMG Advisory, NMB Bank, Pricewaterhouse Coopers Business Services and Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe.

Other licensed securities investment advisers include African Banking Corporation, Brainworks Capital Management, CBZ Bank, Corporate Excellence Financial Advisory Services, Cosmos Capital Limited, Ernst and Young, IH Advisory, Imara Corporate Finance.
