Government has directed the ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development to take over the construction of the 15km stretch of road between the city centre and the Harare International Airport.

Sources in government said the President's Office had directed the ministry to ensure that the Zimbabwe National Roads Authority completes the project, whose construction commenced 6 years ago.

Zinara will take over from Augur Investments.
