Published: 14 July 2017
Local entrepreneurs have strengthened their business relations with their Malaysian counterparts by forming a business network which will benefit the two countries.

Market linkages is considered one of the challenges faced by local entrepreneurs and this has prompted the formation of a business network between local business persons and their counterparts from Malaysia.

Speaking to reporters on the launch of the network in the capital today, development economist, Dr Davison Gomo said Zimbabwe and Malaysia share cordial business relations and there is need for the country to continue implementing measures which promote ease of doing business.

A board for the new platform was formed which will be chaired by Zimbabwe's businessman Stephen Margolis.

In an interview Mr Margolis said the interaction with Malaysian businesses will equip local entrepreneurs with requisite information to grow their businesses.

The government introduced special economic zones which will bring investment in Zimbabwe.
