THE Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA)'s aggressive tax collection style may result in the collapse of many of the country's remaining firms, outgoing Switzerland ambassador to Zimbabwe, Ruth Huber, has warned.
In an interview shortly before her departure for Geneva, Switzerland, last week after a two-and-a-half-year posting to Zimbabwe, Huber told The Financial Gazette that Swiss firms operating in Zimbabwe had approached her, complaining about ZIMRA's tough treatment of tax defaulters.
