Vice President Kembo Mohadi is currently undergoing treatment for an undisclosed ailment in South Africa.

The 68-year-old, who missed Wednesday's Independence Day celebrations at the National Sports Stadium in Harare, had been scheduled to give oral evidence before the Mines Portfolio Committee yesterday.

Committee chairperson Temba Mliswa disclosed to legislators yesterday that the vice president was unable to make it for the hearing because he was not feeling well and was currently receiving treatment in South Africa.
