Emirates has emphasised its commitment to offering Zimbabwean travellers year-round competitive and value for money economy fares, with a high quality of service and experience while travelling to that dream destination.

Since it began flying daily to Harare in February last year, the airline has captured the imagination of Zimbabwe's jet set, who are keen to discover new cultures and explore destinations farther afield with competitive rates that provide good value for money.

Emirates competitive fares and high standards approach comes just three months after the airline upgraded the aircraft on its route between Harare and Dubai to a luxurious Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The airline is the only carrier operating this state-of-the-art aircraft out of Harare.

"At Emirates we offer our customers a unique value proposition; competitive fares that are value for money and high quality products and services that we are renowned for throughout the world which provides an unsurpassed customer experience," said Paulos Legesse, Emirates Country Manager for Zimbabwe.

The Boeing 777-300ER aircraft has 354 seats in a three-class configuration, offering eight luxurious First Class suites, 42 seats in Business Class and generous space for 304 passengers in Economy Class.

Throughout the aircraft, passengers will be able to experience the airline's award-winning ice in-flight entertainment system with a choice of over 1,400 channels on-demand as well as meals prepared by gourmet chefs.  Emirates is also known for its award-winning service from its international cabin crew recruited from over 100 countries around the world, including Zimbabwean nationals.

"Our economy class fares give passengers the freedom to explore the world in any way they choose; whether for trade, to visit family and friends or to learn about new cultures, and they can do so in comfort, style and convenience at great fares," said Mr Legesse.

Emirates is the only airline that flies from Harare then direct from Lusaka to Dubai, enabling passengers to connect smoothly to a further 131 destinations in 76 countries across the world.

More than 46,000 people have travelled on the Emirates route between Dubai, Lusaka and Harare since its launch in February last year.
