Total Zimbabwe, one of the leading energy supply company in Zimbabwe, has launched the new T-Air station model in Harare.

The new T-Air station, the first of its kind in Zimbabwe, has been initially launched at Total's Samora Machel 2 Avenue branch.

The T-Air service stations are expected to be rolled out to Total's other stations nationwide and work is currently underway in that regard. T-Air station is the image that is being rolled out by the Total Group globally.

Derived from a French acronym "Total Amélioration Image Réseau" T Air marks an image improvement of Total's retail network. This service station has a distinctly modern and more contemporary appeal and design.

Total Zimbabwe managing director Christopher Okonmah said the launch of the company's new service station image at Total Samora Machel 2 is part of the Group's objective to reinforce its network identity with a resolutely contemporary image.

"We will continue to invest in this country because we believe in the people of Zimbabwe whom we have walked a long journey with spanning over 50 years.

"Our customers will appreciate our new set up which eases movement and accessibility. The colours we have used resonate with the environment we operate in. We are extremely happy to report that there have been notable successes already; customers have reacted positively and have been flocking to this station since it opened," he said.

Speaking at the launch, Minister of Energy and Power Development Dzikamai Mavhaire appreciated Total's commitment to the country.

"We have seen other major oil companies choose to leave our country but Total has chosen to stay and invest in the country. The Government recognises and appreciates that," he said.

Total Zimbabwe has over 95 stations nationwide with 5 functional depots in Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare, Chiredzi and Kwekwe.
