Duly Motors (Duly's) says it expects  to post an increase in truck sales growth this year due to growing local demand for imported commercial vehicles.

The company's spokesperson Hope Kemadjou said the group's commercial trucks unit - Duly Trucks - was also anticipating increased sales in the coming few months due to a new political dispensation in the country that is expected to turn around Zimbabwe's economic fortunes.

"Commercial trucks are an important factor in any economy as the movement of goods happens all the time. At Duly's our lead time for most stocks is between six and 16 weeks depending on source.

We deal in the following brands - UD/Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Eicher trucks and buses, New Holland Tractors, Higer and Yutong,"she said.

UD Trucks, which have been servicing the majority of Zimbabweans for over three decades, come in three versions - medium commercial vehicles, heavy duty trucks and extra heavy duty trucks.

"Built on a passion for engineering, reliability and customer relations, we believe the UD truck offers a competitive edge in the industry. UD trucks are engineered to be ultimately dependable, many times over," Kemadjou said.

Duly's Trucks recently unveiled the new UD Croner which is designed to deliver value at minimum downtime.

The truck is easy to drive and has automatic transmission as an option to the standard manual type which is available for all models for.  That is good for improved ease of use, safety and less driver fatigue.

The Volvo brand is a world beater, a brand that has stood the test of time. It comes with various features such as ABS, EBD and dynamic steering control among other things which makes the brand a star in its class.

Kemadjou further indicated that the company's UD Quon range of trucks was the embodiment of outstanding extra heavy commercial vehicle features, and has since its launch positioned the company at the forefront of profitable transport solutions.

"Researched, developed and refined to suit local conditions, the Quon range has been specifically designed to provide customers with the best in extra heavy Duty trucking," she said.

Duly Trucks is the one-stop shop for heavy commercial vehicles, located at 3 Bristol Rd in Workington Harare.

It also has a fabrication unit that is able to build van bodies and drop side bodies among others.

"We do not only sell new trucks, but we also service them and provide genuine parts and accessories," Kemadjou added.
