Equities recorded their sixth consecutive loss after the industrial index lost 0.47 (or 0,31 percent) to close at 150.08 in today's trades.

Delta was a cent lower at 101 cents, CFI eased 0,49 cents to settle at 2 cents and First Mutual went down 0,30 cents to close at 2 cents. Construction firm Masimba shed 0,20 cents to trade at 0,80 cents while ZPI dropped 0,02 cents to 0,80 cents.

Three counters traded in the positive; Old Mutual was up 1,60 cents to close at 269,10 cents, Seed Co was 0,51 cents firmer at 95,51 cents and Fidelity Life gained 0,50 cents to trade at 7,50 cents.

Trades in Delta, Old Mutual and Dawn pushed up volumes. And the value of trades was $202 310.

The mining index shed 0,09 (or 0,22 percent) to close at 40,19 points after Bindura lost 0,01 cents to trade at 3,20 cents. Falgold, Hwange and RioZim maintained previous price levels at 1 cent, 3,90 cents, and 15 cents, respectively.
