ZSE continues to record marginal losses

The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange All-Share Index dropped a marginal 0,06% to close  at 86,2 points as profit taking continues on the local bourse.
The top 10 Index also declined by 0,27%  to 84,73 points.

Trading in heavyweights was generally low in the week with Econet recording a gain of 1,04% to close at  67,7 cents while Delta and Innscor remained unchanged at 156 cents and 93,5 cents respectively.

Total market capitalisation shed a marginal 0,01% to close the week at $8,6 billion. On a year to date, the market capitalisation is down 13,88%.

Weekly turnover totalled $4,71 million, an average daily turnover of $941 000.

Leading the  gainers were Willdale and Axia after picking up 20% and 12,57% to close at 0,6 cents and 19,8 cents respectively. CBZ and PPC also gained 0,39% and 2% to close at 10,39 cents and 94 cents respectively.

On the losers side, Simbisa, First Mutual Life and Meikles went down by 15,38%, 5,60% and 3,57% to close at 33 cents, 16 cents and 27 cents in that order.

On the mining space, the index rose 1,63%  to close at 122,73 points on gains recorded by Bindura. Bindura gained 9,09% to settle at 3 cents while the remaining mining counters were unchanged from the previous week's prices.
