The All Share index closed higher at 112.11 points after gaining 2.12 points (1.93%) on the back of strong performance in heavyweight counters.

BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO (BAT.zw) added $1.9607 to trade at $24.9607, DELTA (DLTA.zw) was up $0.0700 to trade at $2.200 and ECONET (ECO.zw) increased by $0.0497 to close at $1.0497. PROPLASTICS (PROL.zw) traded $0.0040 higher at $0.0840  and EDGARS (EDGR.zw) moved up $0.0010 to settle at $0.0530.

On the downside, FIRST MUTUAL HOLDINGS (FML.zw) shed $0.0090 to close at $0.1400 whilst OK ZIMBABWE (OKZ.zw) and ZIMRE HOLDINGS (ZIMR.zw) marginally dropped $0.0001 each to close at $0.02099 and $0.0230 respectively.
