PUBLIC NOTICE:
SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT: FALSE MESSAGES ON ZIMRA RECRUITMENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA

It has come to the attention of the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) that some false and misleading messages are circulating on social media purporting that the Authority is in the process of recruiting 5000 graduates by 1st December 2017. The false messages are also advising people to contact an individual who is not an employee of ZIMRA in connection with the non-existent vacancies.

Members of the public are kindly advised that, contrary to the false messages, ZIMRA is NOT recruiting 5000 graduates. Any vacancies within the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority are advertised in the print media and potential candidates are urged to respond ONLY to genuine vacancy notices published in newspapers.

ZIMRA, therefore, urges members of the public to ignore the false messages circulating on WhatsApp and other social media pertaining to non-existent vacancies.
