The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) has set daily cash withdrawal limit for tobacco farmers at $300 during the 2018 tobacco marketing season which commences on March 21.

In a statement, the Central Bank said the daily withdrawal limit will ensure a smooth payment system that is consistent with international best practice.

"This shall be disbursed at all banks stationed at the auction floors upon presentation of the respective sales statements by the tobacco growers. The balance shall be transferred into the grower's bank account or mobile money wallet," Governor John Mangudya said.
