Chamisa promises to transform Zimbabwe

The MDC Alliance campaign was in Sanyati Mashonaland West and Nembudziya in Midlands this Thursday were presidential candidate Advocate Nelson Chamisa promised reforms among them replacing manned roadblocks by cameras and introduction of a currency stronger that the British pound or the American dollar.

Delivering his message during his rally in Sanyati which was billed to start at 10am but only began shortly before 3pm, Advocate Chamisa sold some hard to implement transformations where he promised to electrify every rural homestead, make the civil service more rewarding that the private sector and introduce a currency stronger than the British pound and American dollar.

At Nembudziya Business Centre in Gokwe where the rally started around 5pm, the MDC Alliance leader said the stretch of land from Sanyati to Lusulu in Matabeleland North should be turned into a greenbelt with the aid of technology from Israel.

He said his administrations will turn Gokwe into a world class textile city where Americans, Europeans and Asians would flock to buy fabric.

Despite selling his promises, Chamisa however vowed to boycott the election should ZEC fail to implement some electoral reforms as demanded by the MDC Alliance.

On the issue of the land reform, he said the process will not be reversed but further measures will be instituted to perfect land redistribution structure.
