ZNCC to partner Indian economic hub

The Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) will by end of this month partner an Indian economic hub on joint venture deals expected to create investment opportunities.

The city of Gujarati in India boasts of more than 20 business or economic trading zones that are being targeted by the ZNCC in terms of joint ventures with local business people.

ZNCC president, Mrs Devine Ndhlukula told reporters that local business people will, therefore, be visiting one of India's largest business or trading hub by end of this month to explore investment opportunities.

"We want to see what we can do and explore further to the market for the benefit of this economy," he said.

Zimbabwe and India are forging ahead with bilateral investment and business cooperation deals with a view of strengthening economic cooperation.

Some of the key sectors being targeted by the ZNCC in India include diamond processing units, manufacturing sector, retail, transport and distribution, agro processing and textiles.
