TelOne introduces one stop shops

TelOne has embarked on the transformation of its service centres countrywide into one stop convenient shops.

Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the official opening of TelOne's first one stop shop at Westgate shopping centre on Wednesday, the company's managing director Mrs Chipo Mtasa said that the project will be rolled out to the 50 service centres in the country.

"We invested less than $2 million dollars in this project and this will involve several other shops in the CBD, Chitungwiza and other areas nationwide.

"In these shops clients can pay their bills, report faults and purchase the latest gadgets that are offer such as smart phones," she said.

She added that the project was a response to customer demands for centralise one-stop shop.

"We agreed that TelOne should offer all its products under one roof," she said.

Mrs Mutasa also said that they are ready to embrace new technology as they will be selling state of the art gadgets in the market.

She also expressed satisfaction with their debt recovery exercise saying that they had so far collected close to $50 million.
