The country is expected to add over 20 000 cows to its national herd within the next months following the successful implementation of Zas-led artificial insemination process, a senior government official has said.

Deputy Agriculture minister Davis Marapira yesterday said the programme which was embraced by various stakeholders across the country has now been incorporated into the Command Livestock, Wildlife and Fisheries project.
