A local economist, John Robertson said that Zanu-PF manifesto will not help the country to move forward and should create a favourable economic environment that attracts foreign direct investment.
Godfrey Kanyenze, an economist said the new government should focus more on the economy and an inclusive approach should be adopted for social dialogue.
"The successful conclusion of peaceful and credible election will establish a foundation upon which the private sector can team up policy makers to generate and realize an economic design that sets the stage for vigorous economic growth," said Charles Msipa of Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries.
